Having GOOD time in Manila during MBA in AIM in 2004 !!!!!
They Do the dance with the western English songs at the back ground. The dancing girls were somewhat not as good quality as compared to the posh Miss Universal clubs girls. The girls offcourse were scantily clad and some of them do the strip dancing in front of the small number of the crowds in the D'boss. D'boss is for the low average middle class and low class people as the drinks were less costly and the entry fee or the cover charge was only 40 pesos at the time of writing the book.
It is good for some time if you want cheap accessible strip clubs with loads of san Miguel beer to liven up ur spirits. I ordered two bottle of beers of san Miguel brand like san Miguel light and Pale pilsen. These beers are light and easily digestible for the food stuff. Some of the girls I saw was good as they had sexiness , curve and the looks.
Some of these attractive girls were seductive with their cat like walk in the small ramp like the models with just in lingerie type of the garments.
I happen to have sensuous feeling with some of them. Now I went back the dorm at late night at 2:am and went there to sleep well. Next day I woke up to see that the some of the assignments I have completed were due to be submitted to the professors. Now came the time in the dorm when I enjoyed the most, was the time when some of the students formed a group for discussions on the puzzles solving, management company and questions related to the job interview. We started forming the group for this particular activitites for the benefit of inculcate the brain with sharp and logical thinking and help the senior students with the job interview they will face in the coming months. Almost every day in the first week of the April to end of the april week we were engaged in this intellectual exercise cum pastime which at some time took all the hours in night till 3am.It was really fun, exciting and mind bending exercise cum discussions which was quite satisfying and entertaining.
In between the group meetings with some of the MBA 2, MM and MDM students, we used to go to the places in the night spots cum entertainment clubs as we have discussed in the above mentioned passages.
In between I went to meet one Mr Wood Chen in the first week of april. He was enrolled in the Master of entrepreneurship course and he had his own wood made furniture business in the cavite region of the southern Luzon. It was part of my Operations Management part-II project work in which every student had to look in to the operations management work with one of the ME student of the institute.

Landing in Banaue to see the eighth wonder of the world
In order to see the rice terraces one has to cross the hills by walking ( which I must admit is a long tiring exercise as a sort of walk marathon) and there is other option of Waiting for the jeepneey which comes once in an hour and don't now when it will come for the next time.So I decided to walk with him but before start my walking journey I had taken a photo of the local guide in my mobile camera in case he turns out to be thug on the road where there is no one except me and him.It was as a sort of the safety precaution. After an hour walking on the turning hilly roads we did reached the view point at the top where the spectacular scenery of the rice terraces of the and I must say it was “WONDERFUL “.I tried to take the photographs with my mobile but unfortunately the mobile was charged off. And I could take only three snaps of the rice terraces of the Banaue. At the top of the hill where there was the view point there is a small shop which was selling snacks and cold drinks . I took some refresh ment and ordered another bottle for my guide who had tremendous stamina in walking in the hilly areas. I talked to the shop owners and other people. Two people were playing cards inside the shop and surprisingly one of them had some relative or friend in Nepal. The guy told me that he knows about Nepal as they are the expert mountain climber like my local guide. After half an hour , we decided to come down the hill as my tricycle was waiting for me. It took half the time to come down the hill in solitary way along with the guide as he took me thru the short cut route. We reached the base of the hill where the tricycle owner was waiting for us. The tricycle owner exclaimed when they say both of us coming down the hill. I paid the local guide some pesos which was five hundred and then I rode on the tricycle in which the local guide was also riding. I reached the youth hostel in half an hour. I talked the reception people about my check out intentions.
I started packing my goods in the dormitory which I had booked for a few hours.
After packing my goods I paid my bill and I went outside the hostel and I started walking down the road to the bus stop where I thought I can find the buses to go towards the baguio city. I ate at a small restaurent near the bus stop and booked my ticked for baguio city journey. I again boarded the bus and sit on the proper seat and bus started its journey after half an hour. I reached my destination city in the night at 8 pm in the center of the baguio city.

reaching Baguio , summer capital of phillippines and planning to go to banaue to see 8th wonder of the world
I enquired a taxi driver about the available rented accommodation and I was fortunate to get a room in a family house in rather difficult to find house in the streets.
I entered into the room after paying 500 pesos to the house owner. As I was tired,
I took a nap a while at 7: 30 am and wake up at 12 pm . Then I went out at market place and saw some popular places of baguio. The burnfield park , the small lake and the baguio market. I ate at some small restaurent in baguio and then decided to have some short tour of the baguio city in pre paid arranged taxi. I took the taxi for three hours and used it to travel all around to see the sights worth seeing like Mines view,
The presidential palace , the PMA township, The church, The La Trinidad strawberry Fields, the ghost house, flower park etc etc. I was lucky to have been able to make a short visit to all of the places in a period of three hours. I reached the town market of the baguio after the trip at about 7:30 pm .AT that I had hit upon an Idea of going to the famous Banaue for being able to see the eighth wonder of the world -Rice terraces, so I booked a bus ticket towards .As done I boarded in to the bus which was leaving for the Banaue at 8 pm in the night. I took my sleep and took some bacon and fried egg from the stall and ate it. I slept in my bus seat and woke up at the early morning to see the beautiful town of the banaue which was covered by hills all around.
I reached banaue at 4:40 am in the morning and quickly rode on to the tricycle to reach a nice quality youth hostel nearby. The hostel had small dormitories available
For me to check in at the early hours of the morning. I slept for some hours as I was tired in the bus journey and then took my bath. The bath was refreshing but at the time of my reaching at the dorm I found noone except two people who were sleeping at the dorm . after taking my bath I then got ready with my mobile and other stuff to start my journey to banaue. I got out of the hostel and went to small shop where I took some food to have some break fast. It consisted of some rice with chicken in Filipino taste.
After the food being quickly swalled into my internal system, I walked towards the strand containing some tricyles and asked one of them to take me towards the banaue rice terraces .One of them replied that rice terraces are quite far.The rice terraces are located at batan which is some six kilometers along the hilly roads which are in bad shape and many vehicles will not be able to commute on it except the jeepney.
I booked the tricyle to go to certain places till the point it is not safe to go by tricyle. We agreed on certain rates and then I jumped on his tricycle ride and needless to add it was my first tricycle ride in the Philippines and I enjoyed it abit. It took almost forty minutes to go to the base of the hill from where the ascent is possible by walking.

Enjoying In boracay , Island trips and Cave visits...
We entered the zoo island and went to see the some animals , rodents , snakes and more and then we entered into the caves which had some beautiful stalagmites and stalactites formations and some strange rock formations. After doing away with this we then proceeded towards another island which was inhabitated by some human beings.
I wish to tell you about my accompany in the island hopping day trip. I was accompanied by a Korean young couple, two Filipino couple , One german couple and
Three young college bachelors like me who were Filipinos from manila.
Now as we entered in to the new island inhabited by the human beings during the day time we found it to be comprised of some lovely buildings and more.
We had our lunch there and it was a good tasty food. After the lunch and some wandering around the island We boarded on to the boat and then we reached towards the our starting point after some photo taking sessions in front of the big rock in some place.
In the evening I walked with R sapico to the local market and took some fish , coal and
Some spices. At the night we had our dinner rice with fish barbecued without oil and then mixed with lemon and some local ketch up. We enjoyed the meal. At that time my next door room mate were two filipinas who were pretty . At night , I went out to buy some
Souvenir like T-shirts , cap, a magazine, a lighter ring, etc. I then moved around and I saw many pretty people mostly whites- probably Europeans, and some filipinas.
I remarked some of them-- Maganda!!!. I went to other shops to see if I can buy something and I did not bought much. I went to my room and collected the articles and put into the bag. As I was about to for the sleep at about 11:30 pm , I heard someone making aloud thud noise in front of my door and as I opened I found there is no one may be it was coming form the next room. I slept and wake up at about 8 am in the next morning ie 19 thmarch,2005. I booked my ticket for the caticlan port journey at the 10 am . I boarded on the boracay beach and said good bye and took some photographs thru mobile camera which I bought recently from makati shoppingmalls.
Within a half an hour I reached caticlan port and fromthere it took another two hours to reach the kalibo airport. In the journey I had a maganda lady as my accompany who was a rich lady who has been working in the gulf and she has visited the boracay as holiday. I was also accompanied by a white Canadian lady who also visited the boracay island in the given days. We reached the kalibo airport at about two hours time and waited for our flight in the evening 5pm in the small airport which has only five to six flights per day.In the airport incidently I met the brother of one of my batchmate named
Leslie suntay . His brother almost looked like him like a twin , he was a medical student
And also coming from the boracay and I had a pleasant exchange of talkings with him.
Also I saw the group of film people who were film crews accompanied by the local film actress who were pretty . Anyway I boarded off the flight at 5 pm and reached manila by 6pm in the evening . I went to my dorm room which was 505 and then stayed there for three hours at about 9 pm I went with my luggage to the bus stop to ride on the bus towards the baguio for yet another tourist adventure in the summer capital Of Philippines.

Leaving for fabulous Boracay beach in the semester break in March 2004
In the whole month of February , I was busy in my study work and could not visit the places again. In the meantime I was covering the subject in the class of simtech, marketing management , Op management-II, and was busy with the class preparation. The month of march carried a sense of new adventure to boracay and baguio to which I was planning in the first week of march. In the first week of march there was beautiful three days of celebration of the International week Conducted and coordinated by the MDM students and it helped in the displaying
Various countries art crafts and tourist places. The students of the countries like India, Vietnam, Laos, malaysia, Indonesia , China , Philippines, Singapore etc put up their stall and displayed various art facts. On 4th March,2004 the International week festival was called closed with a closing ceremony accompanied by some cultural programme.
The mid semester break in the march,2004 which was from 16 to 23 was quite memorable.I had planned ahead and booked my air plane ticket to a visit to boracay the famous beach in philppines. I wished to go to boracay via the air travel to kalibo airport from Manila and then from kalibo airport to port caticlan via the taxi or matador and in the last from the caticlan port to Boracay Island via the steamer or motor boat . This was an easy way to go there and as I had planned I went to Manila airport on 17 th march and it took hardly half an hour to reach kalibo airport in the aklan island by airtarvel . This was first time in my life I traveled in air, on land and on sea as apart of same travel destination. I really enjoyed the matadore taxi journey to the caticlan port from the kalibo airport which lasted for about 90 minutes thru various small towns and villages in the aklan island. I was accompanied by three maganda ladies in the back . I reached caticlan port at 1 :30 pm and quickly boarded on the motor boat and there I was accompanied and guided by one guide named Mr Ronny Sapico who turned out to be my helper in finding the right accommodation in boracay Island once I reached there .I took accommodation in the Rock hotel which had almost similar type of small cottages.I opted for two days of booking to stay in the cottage .On 17 th march, 2005, at about 4pm I went into the cottage room and took some shower and refreshed myself. After that I went outside to see the beach and my god ! I found quite different from the Puerta Galera beach .The puerta galera beach which I had visited in the month of September was a simple beach as it did not
All the modern beach facilities like speed boat , water skiing ,island hopping, large scale facilities of the deep sea diving, snorkeling etc. The boracay beach in one sentence is the best beach I have visited in my life till now.Back home I have visited some beaches in India in Puri( which is more famous for religious reasons) and in goa but they did not have the luxuries and facilities like those of the Boracay which has simply impressive array of modern beach sports and recreation facilities like water skiing, deep sea diving, snorkeling, deep ocean study, speed boat racing, surfing on the water, island hopping etcetc. The boracay has more number of hotels, restaurants, shops, stalls and telecommunication facilities on the beach than any other beaches I have seen before.
I should have stayed more than two days to fully enjoy the pleasure of boracay, but I did not have money. I was unfortunate that I could have any one of my batch mates from AIM especially the Indian ones for my visit to boracay and later baguio.
